How to Make the Two Color Slash-Dash Bar by TIAT

In der Kriese vorbereitet sein…So geht’s Richtig!

Book Link: http://tinyurl.com/JDLenzenBooks The Two Color Slash-Dash Bar illustrates the versatility of the slash-dash tying technique with the creation of banded (horizontal) slashes across the bar's face. Generating a robust rectangular tie with a front that's fundamentally identical to its back, the completed piece makes a firm bracelet or strap.

Generated by the repetition of slip knots locked in series, this piece is yet another example of how the seemingly unreliable slip knot is, in fact, a solid component part to work from. More specifically, the video shows how to tie a Two Color Solomon Bar, a piece shown in "Paracord Craft Perfect Book" (the Japanese language edition of Paracord Fusion Ties — Volume 1). On account this particular video is planned to be used as a teaching tool for a Craft & Hobby Conference in Japan, the finish for the bar was completed with a cord-lock, instead of a 2-Strand Diamond Knot (as shown in the book). The thought being, a cord-lock would allow time for more people to learn the bar. | Cord Used: Two 5 ft. How to Make a Fossa River Bar, Paracord Bracelet by TIAT

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0985557869 The Fossa River Bar is an Iceland inspired bar that holds a lot of cord, a total of 16 feet (in 6 and 10 foot sections) in the (example) bracket shown. A little over an inch wide, the bracelet of the bar also feels comfortable and firm around the wrist. The bar’s thickness and width also makes it an excellent sling or strap for a bag.

How to Make a Divided Snake Belly Bar (Bracelet) by TIAT

PFT-V2 Pre-Order Link: http://tinyurl.com/k6zmzjp The Divided Snake Belly Bar is the combination of a (relatively) new starting technique (i.e., the Slip Knot Loop Start) and one of my more classic ties (i.e., the Snake Belly Bar). Demonstrating how a subtle shift in the start of a tie can generate a startling new look, my hope is that this video will encourage you to mix and match knots and tying techniques of your own! Special Note: This week's video features music by Brandon E. Michaels, a fellow fusion knot tyer, guitarist, and electronic music composer. Hope you enjoy his composition as much as I do!

How to Make the Iktomi (Spider-Trickster) Bar Bracelet by TIAT

Book Link: http://tinyurl.com/JDLenzenBooks The Iktomi Bar is an innovative design variation of the Aztec Sun Bar. Fundamentally the second installment in a unique (yet to be named) tying genre, the bar takes on the look of spiders clinging to one another in series. It is this appearance that lead to the tie's name and reference to Iktomi, the spider-trickster spirit of the Lakota people.
