More specifically, the video shows how to tie a Two Color Solomon Bar, a piece shown in "Paracord Craft Perfect Book" (the Japanese language edition of Paracord Fusion Ties — Volume 1). On account this particular video is planned to be used as a teaching tool for a Craft & Hobby Conference in Japan, the finish for the bar was completed with a cord-lock, instead of a 2-Strand Diamond Knot (as shown in the book). The thought being, a cord-lock would allow time for more people to learn the bar. | Cord Used: Two 5 ft. Lengths of [thin gauge] Paracord from Japan | Lock Used: 25 mm Cord Lock | Finished Piece: 7.5 in. Long

Paracord Fusion Ties – Volume 1: http://www.amazon.com/Paracord-Fusion-Ties-Volume-Bundles/dp/098555780X The Celtic-Crossed Solomon Bar is the result of integrating two (side-by-side) Triangle Knots into a standard Solomon Bar. Shown here with a single Celtic Cross centered on a bar/bracelet, the tie can just as easily be made with multiple Celtic Crosses in series. The choice is yours… Video production by J.D. Paracord Fusion Ties – Volume 1: http://www.amazon.com/Paracord-Fusion-Ties-Volume-Bundles/dp/098555780X The Genoese Zipper Sinnet is the fusion of the Single Genoese Bar and the Zipper Sinnet, thus the name. A stunning unification of two functional decorative sinnets, the Genoese Zipper Sinnet makes for a great strap, bracelet, necklace or key fob. The choice is completely yours. Video production by JD of Tying It All Together. P.S. The first Genoese Zipper Sinnet ever made was handed off to a stranger on a MUNI train earlier today (9/16/2010).

Generating a firm, interlocking oval pattern akin to a modified Snake Knot, the design is nevertheless very different than any tie I've shown before (historical or fusion). Presented here in the bar's original form, be sure to hang on for the "Challenge Tie" at the end of the video. In short, I show an image of the Divided Bankei Bar. Take what you learn here and information gained from past videos and see if you can make it! Video production by J.D. Lenzen of Tying It All Together.

Paracord Fusion Ties – Volume 1: http://www.amazon.com/Paracord-Fusion-Ties-Volume-Bundles/dp/098555780X The "Secret Compartment Fob" is essentially a hexagonal version of the classic Crown (Knot) Sinnet. Capable of being tied as a cylinder (as shown) or as an elongated hexagon, the fob can hold money, a ferrocerium rod, or another emergency object. Now you have a secret storage compartment only you (and the people who've seen this video) will know about! P.S. At the end of the video there's an "Easter Egg".

Great looking as both a fob and a bracelet, the tie will be sure to turn heads! This video also presents a reminder of what I mean by "Snip and Singe the Ends".
